About our presenter:
Lim, Shoon Yin
Senior Manager, Global Diversity & Inclusion, International Strategic Partnerships and Resource Groups, GD&I Practice Management
Microsoft
Shoon leads the development of Strategic Partnerships and Resource Groups internationally to support Microsoft’s Diversity & Inclusion efforts, driving cultural transformation toward greater inclusion of diverse talents in the workplace. She brings an Asian voice to Microsoft’s Corporate GD&I work, bridging the “translation gap” between global and regional D&I agendas.
Prior to Microsoft, she worked for Shell, holding various business roles in operations, branding, communications, and planning before moving to the Global D&I Practice in Human Resources.
She is passionate about helping people realise their full potential and feels truly privileged to be doing a job that allows her to tap into that passion to make a difference every day.
She graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration (Honours) from the National University of Singapore. A single mother, she lives in Singapore with her 4 adorable girls.
