With rapid advancement of technology, we are interacting with technology in new ways. Touch screen revolutionized productivity in the last decade. Voice is expected to do the same thing. Voice will fundamentally improve the way people will interact with technology, because it’s the most natural and convenient user interface ever created.
Join us as we demystify the concept of artificial intelligence and explore how voice-based solutions work, through interactive learning activities. Examine the principles of cloud computing and voice-design skills, and gain practical experience cloud-based voice service, Amazon Alexa. This workshop is powered by AWS Educate program that seeks to educate tomorrow’s cloud workforce today. The program is Amazon’s grant-based, global initiative to provide educational institutions, educators, and students with the resources needed to greatly accelerate cloud-related learning and prepare students for the high growth, cloud-enabled workplace.
Registered participants of the workshop will gain access to free promotional credits to AWS services and online learning content that help individuals skill up on AWS. In the 90-minute workshop, individuals will learn about the basics of cloud computing, artificial intelligence and gain hands-on experiences with cloud-based voice service like Amazon Alexa. One does not need technical or programming background to join this workshop.
Participants will need to bring your own laptop and enroll for AWS Educate prior to the workshop. The details to enroll for AWS Educate will be sent to registered participants on-site.

Felix Goh
Technical Program Manager at Amazon Web Services for ASEAN region.
Felix is responsible for driving awareness and adoption of the AWS Educate program with education institutions and Public Sector organizations. He conducts various technical workshops to educate students and empower educators with knowledge on AWS Cloud services, and how they can utilize them for projects and in the organization.
