ABC OF MACHINE LEARNING

Powered by RailsGirls

Machine Learning is a big buzzword, but what should every wo(man) know and understand about it? How do humans and machines work together? And is AI a pet, friend, foe or a ghost?

In this practical workshop we’ll cover how machines learn (using just pen, paper and unplugged activities) and leave with an understanding of how to fit machine learning into our work lives – with a bit of Scandinavian storytelling twist!

Topics covered during this session will include:
– AI & Machine Learning
– Computers vs Humans
– Bias in AI
– What AI can do

Who should join?
Targeted for non-experts and people who are interested in machine learning fundamentals and applications
